Stage
Curtains
Your stage curtains will be manufactured
to rigid specifications using using new materials and
professional sewing.
Top
Hems
The cut edge of the material is serged and sewn
to heavy webbing at the top and bottom of the webbing
(See
Diagram A).
Pleats
& Gromets
The curtains are box pleated on specified centers
and reinforced with heavy webbing with brass grommets
inserted through each pleat. Webbing is sewn to the
back of the pleats (See
Diagram B).
Bottom
Hems
Bottom hems are sewn with a separate canvas duck
chain pocket. Raw edge is turned under and blind stitched.
Jack chain is inserted to keep the curtain hanging straight
and even from floor (See
Diagram C).
Turnbacks
The turnback is placed at specified distance. Back
from the leading edge of the curtain and sewn with a
blindstitch machine (See
Diagram D).
Side
Hems
Cut edges are serged and sewn with a blindstitch
machine so stitching does not show on face side (See
Diagram E).
